The company's design-build work on Midwest Grain Products’ distillery rebuild in Atchison, Kansas earned a Design-Build Institute of America Mid-America award and a Special Projects award and a Special Projects award for the state of Kansas from the American Council of Engineering Companies.
The project was completed in 13 months, on budget, with an excellent safety record. In addition to building the distillation unit, the plant’s starch cooking facilities were upgraded.
